View from Lido Beach in Sarasota
Well, today is drizzly in Sarasota, proving that the weather is not always predictable. Although high temperatures have been in the mid-70s lately, be sure to pack a few light layers for evening hours. Also, keep in mind that our air conditioning can sometimes add an extra layer of chill; you may be glad to have a sweater or blazer at times during our programs!

Sarasota area colleagues have graciously provided free passes to two attractions!
On Saturday conference attendees will have the option to tour the Ringling Museum’s grounds, as well as the Museum of Art, Ca d’Zan, Circus Museum, and historic Asolo Theatre.
Mote Marine Laboratory has also extended free admission to our conference attendees. This is your chance to touch stingrays, get a glimpse of a gentle sea-cow, meet Hang Tough (the aquarium’s blind sea turtle), watch sharks swim, and see majestic dolphins up close!
